Got a little time to spread some cheer? The Hampshire County Democratic Club will be holding an e-recycling event 12/27/23 and 12/30/23 between 8am and 12pm at the Recycling Center in Augusta. We need people to volunteer for a 2 hour shift to receive cell phones, smart phones, iPads, tablets and eReaders; erase all personal data from them (assuming that hasn’t already been done); and package them in bubble wrap to be sent to Big Sky Recycling. They, in turn, will recycle them, giving the proceeds to ‘Operation Shoebox’, which provides phone cards and care packages for our soldiers.
